"He is risen, He is risen indeed!"

For some people, Easter is just about the easter bunny, dying eggs, egg hunts, and candy. But for me...for me Easter is SO much more!

Easter Sunday is the day Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, rose from the dead! This whole week is the remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross. He died on the cross, in our place, to pay the penalty of death for our sins, so that we could have eternal life in Heaven with Him! He forgives us from all our sins and if we believe that He died for us, we will have eternal life! And today is the celebration of (the third day) when Jesus rose from the dead and is alive! He is alive! Have a blessed Easter! 

Thank you, Lord, for dying in my place so I can live with you forever!

I Thought That...
...by April 15th I would be soaking up my Vitamin D at least once a day.
...by April 15th we'd have to mow the lawn.
...by April 15th I'd wear a skirt without pantyhose.
...by April 15th I'd be in flip flops.
...by April 15th I'd be in shape, with washboard abs, and everything would fit me and it'd look great.
...by April 15th the sun would make the house so warm, the heater would be extinct for the season.
...by April 15th we'd be playing frisbee at least 4x a week.
...by April 15th we'd have taken more than one evening walk so far this season.
...by April 15th we would have had a bonfire.
...by April 15th it would SPRING!

...I was wrong. South Dakota is not cooperating! In the meantime, I will dream about a place like this:

Future Vogue Model

Grandma thought I was so cute...I'd play dress up and mix and match the darnedest things together. She once told me I could be a future Vogue model.
