Unacceptable Hiatus.

Now, there is no way to begin thee blog post that is finally making an appearance after almost four months hiatus. Gee wizz. There is also no way to cover the past four months eloquently, so I’m just giving you the good ‘ole list.

Life May – September:
1. Finished life as a Capernwray Student
2. June 8, 2012 returned to the U.S. of A. I love this country.
3. Returned to Shetek Baptist Camp for the summer. I was part of the kitchen and counseling staff.
4. August consisted of spending lots of time with family and friends.
5. September I began packing again…
6. September 7, 2012 I returned to England for 10 months of service as staff at Capernwray. I’m back.

Here is the shortest recap I have of my time as a student as Capes…I began this as my finale post from the year at Capes and it is finally making itself visual on an URL. Sorry about the three month delay.

To be honest…I have no idea how to bring those last nine months to a close. There are so many pictures and memories not yet documented online. I have learned too much to share all at once.

It is very cliché for the majority of people who attend Capernwray to say the sentence, “It was the best year of my life!” Well…I am telling you, it was the best year of my life! That is the best way to explain the experience. Not only has my knowledge and understanding of the Bible and what it is to live ‘in Christ’ grown, but my knowledge and understanding of myself has grown.

I am overwhelmed with: God, wisdom I have soaked in, fellowship, friends, and the gift of family. It is all a good overwhelming feeling. God revealed Himself to me in new ways that just blew me away.

So, as of today, I am back. Back at Capes and here to help make the experience I had possible for the next group of students coming this year. Their lives are going to be transformed and they don’t even know it yet. That’s awesome.

So…I’m back to the blog too and ready to keep you updated! I know I’ve disappointed time and time again getting “too busy”, but I should have more time and Internet access this time around.
